The Feed-in Tariff is closed to new applicants. However, owners of eligible new Solar PV systems may be able to receive payments for surplus electricity exported to the National Grid through the Smart Export Guarantee. Eligibility, export rates and payment terms depend on the requirements of the chosen electricity supplier.
In certain circumstances, Solar PV may be included as part of an eligible ECO4 whole-house improvement package. Availability is subject to household and property eligibility, a professional retrofit assessment, scheme requirements and funding-provider approval. Funding is not guaranteed and may not cover every recommended improvement.
